For over 25 years, validation professionals have been using
the same system and facing the same frustrating problems as
you are now, when using thermocouples:
- A tangled mass of thermocouples that needs to be carried
along with bath, probe and datalogger from chamber to chamber.
- A lot of time is needed to setup and for calibration.
- Calibrations or verifications fail and need to be redone.
- IRTD probe gets damaged in transport or setup.
- Some chambers require a lot of time to stabilize after installing
thermocouples.
- Installing thermocouples into autoclaves, sterilizers or
freeze dryers is time intensive.
- Feedthroughs leak and vacuum tests fail.
- Power failed or somebody messed with the equipment overnight
and the test has to be redone.
- Datalogger is water damaged from condensate steam running
through thermocouples.
- The usage of LNG dewars, dry ice/alcohol slurries or messy
oil baths for low temperature calibrations.
- Validation software does not support all the trends, calculations,
electronic signature or report formats needed. Therefore,
you spend considerable time compiling data in third party
software to complete the reports. Reports must then be reviewed
by passing hard copies from person to person.
If you have encountered some or all of the above, then you
probably experienced days that you felt like a caveman trying
to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together. Maybe it is
time for a change. Lives International offers the most modern
and complete approach to thermal validation applications.
Lives XpertLog wireless validation system can cut your validation
time and costs in half with its new Ultra Low Temperature
Loggers for –80 C to 100 C Range and Ultra Low Temperature
Dry Bath for calibrating –90 C to 125 C Range.
