Most validation people would rather use wireless dataloggers
to avoid the time consuming setup and operational disruptions
associated with using thermocouples for chamber mappings.
However, there are considerations that should be made before
selecting a wireless alternative.
Typically, validation professionals ask the following important
questions when considering purchase or rental of validation
wireless dataloggers:
1. Can I use them without changing existing protocols and
procedures?
2. Is the software 21 CFR Part 11 compliant?
3. Can I field calibrate with my existing equipment (i.e.
LTR, HTR, IRTD)
4. Can I use them to map a -80 C freezer or an autoclave?
5. Does the software generate all the reports I need?
6. Can I measure pressure and RH as well as temperature?
7. Does the software provide advanced calculations (i.e. F0,
MKT, statistics etc.)?
8. Can I use on a network with electronic signatures?
9. Is temperature measured with an accurate and stable RTD
sensor?
10. Are the dataloggers field proven within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech
Industry?
11. Using an LTR/IRTD, is the calibration or verification
automatic?
12. Can I export data to third party software (i.e. Excel)
if necessary?
13. Can I rent a system instead of purchasing?
14. Is the software intuitive, easy to learn and use?
15 Can I use the dataloggers in ICH stability studies?
Lives International is the only company that can answer all
the above questions with an unequivocal “YES”. The Lives XpertLog
System has over eight years of field proven experience in
a wide variety of environmental chamber applications. Join
the growing number of validation people who have found they
